Today Faderhead releases “Therapy For One”, an acoustic EP featuring acoustic versions of some of their own favourite songs.
This project came about because Faderhead mastermind Sami lost his voice for 6-7 months this year and slowly started playing acoustic guitar and singing. One day his girlfriend stood behind him in the studio door and just started singing along when he played “Better”.
As a result, friend Von Marengo was asked to learn and play/sing along with these songs – and now this EP is available on your favourite streaming and download platforms.
Of course, the Bandcamp version has a 5th bonus track (“She’s Like Rain & Hate”) with The Delta Mode as backing vocalist.
This EP is a little gift to everyone who has let Sami know over the last 16 years that they like ballads as much as club tracks. God knows, it’s rare enough that people even notice Faderhead ballads.
It is also a joy for Sami that he can still sing a little.
