Home1.0 Music1.1 NewsSwedish electronic duo Hatif drops EP titled Silent Elevators

Hatif releases an industrial-tinged 4-track EP called Silent Elevators, out on November 17 on all music streaming platforms via Town And Towers Records.

“Disappear in Seoul” is the opening track. It’s a highway of throbbing and howling synths around a theme of being lost in a foreign environment. Influences to the EP are our times and struggles, and musical references such as Joy Division and Gesaffelstein.

Hatif enjoys performing live. The music video for “Disappear in Seoul” is edited from footage by the audience. The video will go public on November 17.

Hatif is an electronic music group formed in 2020 in Stockholm, Sweden, by Markus Majdalani and Johan Eckerström. Prior to Silent Elevators, the band has released one full-length album in 2022, several singles and has appeared on international compilations.
