The artist who likes to stage himself as ‘one lost in reverie’ is famous for being one of the most tenacious and willful fighters on the electronic dance floors Throughout the years, Janosch Moldau has quietly attracted an idolatrously loyal fan base, celebrating and fawning over the musician and his distinctively melancholic voice wherever he may appear.
The apocalyptic scenarios in music industry led Janosch Moldau to join forces again. The ‘enfant terrible of synth pop’ (Gothic Magazine) finally reemerges with the release of a new EP in 2023, that will be released under the ambiguous name ‘Aid And Abet’. Again all songs were recorded in Italy on Lake Lugano, where the musician has regularly withdrawn for some time.
Within the last 15 years the musician has published five studio albums, two remix albums, many singles and remix EP’s and has toured throughout Europe, the US and in Russia with numerous stars of the electronic-pop scene. His third album, ‘Lovestar’, expanded his committed fan base well beyond the borders of Germany. The music clip with the same name as the album was presented exclusively on the music channel MTV/VIVA, introduced with the following apt description: ‘Melancholy is a key element in Janosch Moldau’s work, wonderfully packaged in addictive sounds à la Depeche Mode, The Cure or Red Flag.’
On 28.04.2023 you can finally hear new songs, the single “This Is My Show” is flanked by a video clip for the song “This Is My Show”. The EP will follow on 26.05.2023
