A pair of lovers stroll together through the “fair of life”, experiencing ups and downs and all the possible and incomprehensible wonders of life.
This song could also be from mesh, Camouflage, Minerve or Depeche Mode, because it takes the listener to the colorful world of entertainment in a classic electropop sound and a catchy melody.
The “funfair of a lifetime” holds countless paths ready for the couple, passing roller coasters, Ferris wheels, car scooters, boat swings, chain carousels, and much more.
Each of these rides holds challenges of life, in which the couple will grow. Friends accompany them, helping in difficult times.
Love always grows stronger and it always helps to stick together. But you can also let your inner child steer you to the next attraction and get new inspiration.
The basic sound is based on classic SynthPop, a mystical and somewhat dramatic sound accompanies the partly adventurous rides/life situations in the verse, which however always turns to good in the chorus.
In fact, the lead sound is not a guitar but a piano processed to the point of unrecognizability by sound design.
Overall, sound design is integrated into this song in many details. For example, Stefan has often encountered the intro sound in a similar form in digital video editing. It sounds kind of crazy and funny and of course had to be used. Of course, classic fairground sounds are also processed. Each time you listen to it again, you’re sure to discover something new.
The song is dedicated to Stefan’s (Airman) love of his life and wife
What used to be called a B-side is included here with the instrumental version of “go for”. This is also a very catchy SynthPop song.
It was in the hangar for a long time, never produced, but never forgotten. The melody goes directly as an earworm in’s brain and has probably therefore again and again in Stefan’s head in the foreground could push. One fine day he had finally convinced Stefan to finish it.
The version with vocals will be on a later release.
