With their first single “The Juggler” “12 Illusions” could already cause quite a stir. Placements in GEWC, DAC & Klangwald Charts as well as over 5.000 video plays on Youtube, within shortest time were the logical consequence. The second single “Revalue the time” also follows similar paths and is the successful second harbinger for the album “Intruder”.
A mixture of electronics and skilfully applied rock elements with the unmistakable voice of frontman Arno Zillmer. Musically, “12 Illusions” title their songs themselves as “Dark Electropop” and that does it justice. The duo, completed by Georg Lenhardt (drummer and percussionist with the band “Die Apokalyptischen Reiter”), combines pop & wave, electronic and rock influences into a catchy whole, always remaining progressive and atmospheric.
