From playful, synth-poppy echoes, to raw, brute songs, to multi-layered stacked layers, the album offers an enormous range of electronic sonic art, never refusing to take a wistful look back on the journey forward.
In terms of content, the album highlights the technical development and its effects on the country and its people since the time of the Industrial Revolution. Coarse and sometimes biting social criticism again finds a lot of space in the lyrics of Michael Schrader on Industrielle Revolution , complemented by a blood-red splash of color Käfigkampf, for which Ralf Dörper (Die Krupps) provided the lyrics.
