Second single from the current Hidden Souls album “All That We Destroy”.

On 2 December 2022, Hidden Souls will release the second single from their current album “All That We Destroy” (released on 4 November) via Echozone. The single is called “Loreley” and includes nine remixes of the song and two versions of a “B-Side” track.

“Loreley” is a song in the style of 80s synthpop and is based on the 19th century German Lorelei legend. From the beginning, an analogue synthesizer creates a consistently hypnotic, catchy and warm sound on pop dance beats. From the famous poem / song “Die Lorelei” and the myth to the Rhine legend, the lyrics are written from the point of view of the lover; an aristocrat who falls in love with Lorelei and then supposedly cheats on her.

The single features remixes by Ruined Conflict (USA), L_igh_T (Spain), Elektrostaub (Germany), People Theatre (France), Device not Ready (Germany), Real Eraser (Argentina), VDOC (Germany) and Glasnost (Argentina).

The single also features a non-album track called “The Court Of The Beyond”, which is available in two versions. The original track is a dark synthpop song with a hint of synthwave, whereas the alternative version has a goth feel and a haunting, dark mood.
