Ulf Müller and his music project Projekt Ich are excited to announce the release of the sixth single, “Kosmonaut” from their upcoming third studio album. This release will be accompanied by a “Remix
Edition” and an “Instrumental Remix Edition” featuring a total of seven fascinating remixes by outstanding German artists.
Following the success of the extended singles like “Paméla Amen feat. LISA PUNG”, “Dad feat. Madil Hardis”, “Der Westliche Mann feat. GOUDI”, “Peace Is A Wonder feat. Ottoextrem”, and “Don’t Wake Up feat. Alex Braun”, “Kosmonaut” continues to expand Projekt Ich’s impressive catalog. The full album is scheduled for release in spring / summer 2025 via the renowned indie label Echozone.
For the track “Kosmonaut”, Ulf Müller enlisted his longtime friend and collaborator Manfred Thomaser from Arsine Tibé (The Grab Society) as the vocalist. The song’s profound lyrics tell the moving story of a cosmonaut on a doomed mission, struggling with the fading hope of survival while longing for his distant love
As a fitting counterpart to the main single, the B-side features the atmospheric track “Es ist Halloween” (It’s Halloween) sung by Ulf himself, perfectly timed for release on October 31, 2024.
Musically, “Kosmonaut” is an evocative ambient track with strong electro and synthpop influences, blending melancholic tones with a powerful sound.
