Just a month ago, the first extended single “Paméla Amen feat. Lisa Pung” from the highly anticipated third studio album of Projekt Ich was released. This album is expected to be out in the fall/winter of 2024 or in the spring of 2025, once again under the German indie label Echozone.
For the song “Dad,” Ulf once again enlisted the exceptional Magdalena Herfurtner from Madil Hardis, with whom he previously collaborated on “Mit Dir” from “Freedom For All.” Magdalena Herfurtner joins Ulf in singing “Dad” side by side Dedicated to Ulf’s father on his 75th birthday, the song unfolds as an emotional, folk- infused synth-pop, accentuated by Manuel Trabucco’s soul-stirring saxophone parts.
“Dad” not only includes the original and a special edit version but also features seven compelling remixes by artists such as People Theatre, L_iGH_T, Oren Amram, Cyborgdrive, Vence Romance and Nature of Wires.
Ulf extends heartfelt gratitude to all the artists who contributed to this special extended single release.
This song is dedicated to all fathers who are loved unconditionally.
“Dad” will be released digitally on 15 December 2023.
