With “Liaison”, M/A/T releases his first instrumental track. Pulsating synth sequences, playful melodies and a driving beat dominate this club-ready dark electro production with a pinch of EBM & dark italo elements.
“In this track, I have combined the musical elements that I myself would like to hear in an electronic song and would like to play accordingly. That’s why I decided on “Liaison” as the title of the song. It is the secret love affair with the sequences, beats and sounds of a certain era, which experienced its greatest creative phase in the 80s productions of SynthPop, Italo Disco, Electro and Electronic Body Music,” says Matthias Bischoff from M/A/T.
After “Das Fundament” (#3 German Alternative Charts) and “Nueva Esperanza”, “Liaison” is the third single from the upcoming M/A/T EP “Jupiter”, which will be released digitally and as a limited, coloured 12″ vinyl on 2 September 2012. The vinyl EP can be pre-ordered now here via Bandcamp.
