Die australische Band Avarice In Audio meldet sich mit der nächsten Single aus ihrem neuen Album „Tear Heaven In Half“ zurück. Den Anfang macht der Dancefloor-Treiber „Drowning One“.
Mit einer knirschenden Bassline, Tribal-Percussion und Gerrys Vorliebe für unverblümte Vocals und Lyrics markiert „Drowning One“ einen ganz anderen Sound als „Wicked Die Alone“. „Drowning One“ klingt zu Beginn wie ein Industrial-Track aus den 90ern, bevor es sich als stampfende Tour de Force entpuppt.
In addition to the original track, four remixes have been curated. Angel Of Violence remixes the track into a cinematic, frantic affair, sounding like a soundtrack to a film not yet made. . Viscera Drip bring a classic terror EBM flavour to the song, accentuating the club night nature while Sinthetik Messiah and Dirty K both experiment with more breakbeat style tracks, but go in very different directions.
