Kontrast not only a name, but the band’s reputation! After their successful fifth longplayer «Unaufhaltsam» (# 4 DAC, # 5 GEWC) and the re-issue of their debut-album on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Kontrast started the year 2024 impressively by climbing to No. 1 on German Alternative Charts (DAC) for the first time in their long career with their single «Tanzmaschinen».
The second forerunner of the sixth Kontrast-longplayer, which is to be released in 2025, will attack the dancefloors very soon: On November 20th, 2024 renowned German label Danse Macabre Records will publish «D3R DIKTATOR» – a driving club track with politically explosive content. The single will be available on all common digital platforms (e.g. iTunes, amazon music, spotify), containing an exclusive B-side and a powerful remix created by the enigmatic project Elektrische Maidchen.
There is no doubt: Dirk, Falko, Roberto and their charming Nebelgeist still remain even after almost 30 years what they have always been: a unique Kontrast in the music scene!
