After 13 years, Das Fortleben decide to release their first single on a label! “Spiegel der Gesellschaft” (Mirror Of Society) will see the light of day on February 25, 2023 via Echozone.

Like every song by Das Fortleben, “Spiegel der Gesellschaft” also deals with present social issues! What influence do culture, politics, demography or even the subjective perception of identity have on society? What image emerges when we look at our society? What characterizes our society? What values do we actually have? Will climate change alter our image of the earth? Are we facing a new Copernican revolution?

Questions upon questions that Das Fortleben ask themselves all the time and metaphorically express their concerns about society in “Spiegel der Gesellschaft”! The single EP features eight tracks that get under your skin and couldn’t be more different! The original and the club edit (plus with five remixes by Relate, Superikone, Antiage, Projekt Ich and Das (X)periment create a perfect symbiosis of electronic sounds paired with spoken words in form of the B-side “Ein Gespräch zwischen Sonne & Erde (Teil 1)” (A Conversation Between Sun & Earth (Part 1)!
